SL90 is great for games. Lg’s and Samsung’s are quite similar, the only difference is a better black level for samsung, which i believe isn’t worth the price variaton.
There is not much of a difference between 240hz and 120hz, and as far as color range is concerned LG has always been high standard.
@SergheiRO there are 2 LG LED models, 1 is the LH90 and
it’s 240hz, and the other is SL90 but 120hz and both the same
price, but the SL90 looked better to me with nicer colors, What
would you go for? maybe I could get a samsung 40 inch and
just plug the consoles back and forth, I hear the latest samsung Led’s have 2ms response time and 5 000 000 contrast so it must be stunning.
@ontheroof99
samsung and sony are the best, but also the most expensive. Sharp are fine too, but i’ve never liked them, think they are a bit overrated. Lg has the best price/quality ratio on the market, but not such great black levels as sony/samsung. All in all either buy something great but expensive as hell, or buy something more than decent, at a more than fair expense. I’ll go for LG when playing games.
I like the samsung LED also but problem is they only have 1 component HD port, and I have 2 video game consoles that require 2 component inputs, So I would have to go with either
LG, Sharp , or Sony, What do you guys think?
stupid commercial… led tv’s dont give ‘sharper images’ like she said. the resolution is the same they just use a different source of backlighting (led diodes instead of cold cathodes)
@ontheroof99 samsung has 4 hdmi inputs
@ontheroof99 SAMSUNG LED TVS ARE BATTER THEN LG AND SONY
which samsung model has the best Blacks and colors, I
don’t care about thickness, I just care about picture and
hope it’s on par with plasma.

the design its also great!
i have the samsung series 6,40 inches and the picture is great, just great!so clear!
go in a store and look at an actual LED before you say Samsungs are junk
samsung tvs are junk
The different backlight means it has a higher contrast ratio, which makes the blacks in dark scenes, for example, sharper.
nah they support 1080p / 1080i (blu-ray / hd-dvd) but nothing is higher in tv’s so far…
omg I thought that was above hd from 1080p to 1440p or 2160p
i love this comercial
the hummingbird is pretty cool
